The units are functional, beautifully designed for the king size bed. The location is amazing, 15 minutes' walk to a cable-stayed bridge.

we felt very comfortable here and can recommend the place. the breakfast served was very good with fruit and fresh pastries, as for instance. the airport was 20 km away from here, particularly good and absolutely perfect location.

Early check-in and late check-out, parking nearby. Compact, functional rooms and good amenities. Comfy and phenomenal location right opposite World One Tower, and 10 minute walk from Two.

In the room there is a windowsill from which you can watch the surroundings - very nice feature! Hotel is within walking distance of the One World Trade Center, has modern facilities and can be reached via lift with reception on the 5th floor. That makes the hotel very secure. Furnishing is very modern, which I liked very much.
The air conditioning was very loud and not easy to turn on or off. The lighting was a little dark.

Hotel was in the best location.
Hygiene in the bathroom unfortunately not the luxury from Europe, otherwise everything is great.

The staff were always pleasant and helpful. I think they are well trained.
The feather pillows were really smelly, had to have them replaced once but even then they were kind of funky. The carpet in the room seemed liked it was never vacuumed the whole week I was there.

W Downtown was a pleasant surprise. The hotel was as "hip" and sleek as advertised but i was pleasantly happy with how warm and welcoming it still was. Our double bed room was roomier than i expected, the beds were uber comfy. The room amenities and goodies were delightful and charming--an awesome noise machine to fall asleep to, a very cool well0used window bench that affords awesome views of the city, Bliss products! The bar is also essentially the lobby and though it sounds off-putting it really wasn't late at night there's a Dj that spins and it was fun to be able to party it up jsut a bit before hitting that hay. The area offered some cool sites even if it was way south from Manhattan. It was also right in front of the 911 Memorial, near wall street, trinity church and Battery park. Steve's pizza, Ohara's pub and Izzy & Nats were the best local eats. Kareem at Concierge hooked us up with a great tip for shopping in Brooklyn. one of the most memorable parts of the hotel? you'll think it's weird but the smell! the elevators, lobby and room are all perfumed with an amazing scent.
The only con was the while the area offered more than we were expecting, Financial District is still no where newer and happening as the rest of Manhattan. also, you could tell that some cabbies hated going this far downtown.

The bed was great. Slept like a baby. Room was a comfortable size. I mostly liked that I got to upgrade my room at no cost to me.
I didn't like that the room didn't come standard with a tub. Wish they could have changed that feature

Loved the spaghetti at Bill's Bar & Burger, and the ambiance at Living Room Bar was killer! Plus, the location made it easy to explore joints like Morton's and ruchi, perfect for brunch or a late-night snack.

Very friendly staff
Had to pay for internet access (even in the business center)!! This is the ultimate in greed!

The location was perfect for our need and the bed was the most comfortable 'hotel bed' I've ever slept in! The room was nice, if small but I would not complain as the bathroom/shower was plenty big. I also liked the window seat as it eliminates the need for a 2nd chair. Clever! As Long Island residents, we don't stay in the City often but if the great rate we were able to get in the future, I wouldn't stay anywhere else. Pat D.
